Slender: The Board Game
A downloadable game
A project done for CMPM 176 at UCSC. This is a board game adaptation of the popular indie game Slender: The Eight Pages. In this version, two players fight against each other in a battle of the Slenderman versus the Searcher. The Searcher must traverse the dark map and flip over tiles in a desperate search for the eight pages. With a limited flashlight, and only a static meter to indicate the Slenderman's presence, they must be sparing and strategic. All the while, the Slenderman must chase, teleport, and capture them before all the pages are collected. Utilizing a design of two separate game boards, the Slenderman will always know where the searcher is, while keeping his own movements hidden. In this game of wits and high tension, will you be able to come out on top?

I'm not gonna lie, this looks pretty fun!
Something good had to come from this creepypasta-like character. We all know it sure wasn't gonna be the movie.
Edit: Ok, one thing confuses me. You can reveal any tiles that enter your line of sight, and at the end of the turn, if any revealed Forest tiles are out of your line of sight, you turn them down again. But... why? What effect does that have on the gameplay? Is it just to confuse the Searcher in terms of which tiles have they searched yet?
On second thought, I can see that happening, and it's actually a pretty cool mechanic.
Awesome game! I loved playing it with my friends
